Valves, Faucets & Sanitary Hardware
Brass valve and faucet sourcing is driven by alloy, not shape. The material decision is between CW617N / HPb59-1 free-cutting brass for ordinary service and low-lead DZR brass (CW511L) for drinking-water duty, plus cartridge quality, wall thickness, and whether the foundry is in-house. Foundry-integrated factories in Nan'an are usually the low-cost, high-consistency choice.
Industrial belt
Nan'an / Licheng (Fujian) for the largest brass valve and faucet cluster; Cixi and Taizhou (Zhejiang) for plastic-and-brass sanitary hardware; Yuhuan (Zhejiang) for copper valves and fittings

Questions buyers ask
Which brass valve is safe for drinking-water installation?
Specify low-lead DZR brass (CW511L / HPb57-4 type) with the actual lead percentage on the purchase order and require the factory to declare it per batch; if the destination market legally requires NSF 61 or equivalent, request the certificate with the matching model before payment rather than after production.
Why do identical-looking faucets have a 2x price difference?
Three items usually explain it: wall thickness and casting porosity rate, cartridge grade and cycle life, and plating layer count (single nickel vs copper+nickel+chrome). Ask for weight per piece, cartridge cycle claim and salt-spray hours; those three numbers close most of the gap.
