About HardwarePlant — what this platform is and is not

HardwarePlant is a category-and-factory directory for China hardware industrial belts. It is not a trading company holding stock, and it does not claim production capacity of its own.

What the site is

HardwarePlant is a directory organised in three levels: a hardware category page, the source factories of the industrial belt that produces that category, and the specific products of each factory. Each category page carries a specification reference table so a buyer can compare factories on the same items rather than on marketing descriptions.

Category, factory and product URLs are stable. A factory being added or removed does not move the category URL, so a link you save or publish keeps working.

What it is not

It is not a trading company holding inventory, it does not sell its own production capacity, and it does not publish test data, certificates or company credentials that a factory cannot evidence for the exact model shipped. Where a specification is typical rather than guaranteed, it is labelled typical.

Belts covered

The thirteen categories currently published reference the belts that dominate them: Handan Yongnian, Jiaxing Haiyan and Wenzhou Luqiao for fasteners; Danyang and Yongkang for hand tools and power-tool accessories; Mengcun Cangzhou, Wenzhou and Yuhuan for fittings and flanges; Nan'an Fujian for brass valves and faucets; Anping Hebei for wire mesh; Qingdao Jiaozhou for forged lifting goods; Yangzhou Guangdong and Cixi for springs; Zhengzhou and Changzhou for cutting tools and abrasives; Shenzhen, Dongguan and Kunshan for stamped and machined parts; Wenling Taizhou for small pumps; Yongkang and Zhongshan for locks and architectural hardware.
